Our Family Farm
Welcome to Living Water Farms!
We are a family-owned and operated greenhouse farm, located in rural central Illinois, specializing in vegetable production. With over 6,000 square feet of greenhouse growing space, we produce lettuce, greens, tomatoes, spinach, cucumbers, strawberries and green beans in state-of-the-art facilities.
Our advanced filtration and recirculation system combined with our “green” geothermal heating and cooling give us precise control over our growing conditions so that we guarantee our products to be food-borne pathogen free. The vision which gave birth to Living Water Farms (LWF) was the enjoyment of gardening, the need for fresh, year-round, sustainably grown vegetables, and the desire for a business that our family could all be involved in. Our family has gardened side-by-side over the years in Central Illinois and the love of growing things has now been embraced by our children.
Living Water Farms is owned by Kevin & Denise Kilgus and their son-in-law and daughter, Mark & Natalie Schneider. Occasionally, there are as many as four generations tending the crops together to bring you produce grown the way it used to be – on the small family farm!
